Inbound Process

The goods pallet is brought to the inbound area, where the system automatically scans the barcode.

The WMS (Warehouse Management System) automatically calculates and selects the most suitable storage bin ID within the ASRS.

The pallet is then transported by conveyors, shuttles, or AGVs to the designated bin location in the ASRS.

Automated Material Receiving

AGVs can collect pallets or containers from the receiving dock and transport them directly to: 1. Incoming quality inspection area 2. Buffer zones 3. Storage racks or AS/RS systems

Automated Put-Away

AGVs can place inbound goods into storage positions using: 1. Integrated lift modules 2. Coordination with WMS/WCS systems Real-time scanning and barcode identification

Empty Pallet / Returnable Transport Item Handling

AGVs can return empty pallets, bins, and totes back to the receiving or staging area, closing the loop efficiently. 1. Location tracking 2. Delivery timestamps

Outbound Process

1. Finished Goods Transfer

Transporting completed products from the end of production lines to outbound warehouse areas.

Eliminates manual forklifts, increasing safety.

2. Pallet Staging for Shipment

AGVs automatically bring pallets to temporary staging zones based on loading priority.

Staging can be organized by shipment time, truck route, customer, or SKU grouping

3. Dock Feeding (Truck Loading Preparation)

AGVs feed pallets directly to loading docks.

Can integrate with:

Automatic dock conveyors

Telescopic conveyors

Robotic loading arms (if applicable)

4. Warehouse-to-Dock Transfer

For large DCs, AGVs move pallets from high-bay storage (AS/RS or rack zones) to outbound docks.

Works with WMS and TMS to coordinate truck arrival and pallet sequencing.

5. Labeling & Scanning Integration

AGVs can interact with automatic print & apply stations.

Auto-scanning ensures outbound accuracy before loading

In this Inbound–Outbound solution, we deploy our F300 AGV as the core transport unit, enabling fast, precise, and fully automated material movement throughout the workflow.
